Originally in Vanilla Warcraft many skills max ranks could only be trained from finding tomes in the world, Ascension has added several custom tomes to expand upon that Vanilla idea of having to explore the world to obtain the max ranks of spells. Additionally, the tome collection can be sorted by “All” or “Known” tomes in the upper right hand corner of the Lexicon of Knowledge UI. The tome collection is a per-character collection, and new characters on a player’s account will need to complete their own collection. This allows the collection of tomes for spells and abilities that the player does not know. Or the tome can be dragged and dropped directly into the tome collection interface.Right-Click to learn a tome for an Ability or Spell that the character currently has learned, given that the tome is the next rank needed. To add a tome to the collection, a player can either: When a tome is added to your collection, that tome rank becomes available to the player after a re-specialization or after unlearning and relearning that spell without having to find the appropriate tome rank again. Once a tome is in the collection, it can be learned via the Activate Tome button, or it will be learned automatically if it was previously learned by the character. The Tome Collection panel holds a variety of tome ranks of skills, that are both default to the Vanilla Warcraft experience and custom to the Ascension experience.
